Don’t think I’m an exception. Others experience it too:

UK writer and broadcaster Anna Chen, Orwell Prize shortlistee and TED speaker, has spent three decades challenging establishment narratives. Her main X account was deleted — her backup @MadamMiaow is shadow-banned too, as she told me on Substack:

I have previously written about the EU sanctions, French entry bans, and coordinated political defamation campaigns aimed at silencing Nathalie Yamb—the Swiss-Cameroonian activist who fearlessly defends African sovereignty—and at destroying her livelihood.

Now, look at what X has done to her:

My account has been shadow-banned or otherwise censored on X, while my content on Substack has not. Here is the evidence.

Shadow-banning is not sporadic or random — it is systematic and deliberate. Here is yet another example.

It's also worth noting that I have more followers on X than on Substack, which makes the difference in reach even more striking.

It seems they're not only censors but thieves, too, as John M. McGuire tells us through his own experience:
